A new crab shack is going up in Red Hook, Brooklyn, right next to that unequaled monument to the human spirit, Ralph's Place.
The owners of Alma Restaurant on Columbia St. in Brooklyn are building the giant new eatery, Brooklyn Crab, at 24 Reed Street in Red Hook.
Brooklyn Crab's Facebook page says:
"This time around these two visionaries of Alma will whistle entirely to their own tune with food and a vibe that reflects their own passions; fishing, family and seafood.
"Brooklyn Crab, built on two decks overlooking the New York harbor, will offer seafood fare from all the way up the Atlantic coast and down to the Gulf of Mexico. In addition to an extensive raw bar, Brooklyn Crab will also serve, salads, soups, sandwiches and steak to please both vegetarian and carnivore pallets."
Hope it doesn't disturb the vibe at Ralph's.
