Busy Chef's Alan Young Disbarred

What more could go wrong with anyone in any way connected with the failed Busy Chef Brooklyn restaurant chain?

Now it seems that Busy Chef's landlord Alan Young (and local attorney) has been disbarred for “his inability to successfully defend himself on the merits against any disciplinary charges which may be brought against him," according to the Brooklyn Eagle.

Young was what -- owner? Partner? with Dan Kaufman, credited with driving the Busy Chef and other restaurants out of business by allegedly stealing thousands from customers and the business itself.

Are you really this dumb? Alan Young ran the business he was the primary owner. He has been disbarred because of his involvement in this whole scam.

Actually, he was disbarred for alleged “irregularities in his attorney escrow account.” See link above.

Read the text, while vague the investigation and the allegations are a lot more than just the “irregularities in his attorney escrow account.”

Here's are two links to the text:

http://www.nycourts.gov/reporter/3dseries/2009/2009_03186.htm

http://www.courts.state.ny.us/courts/ad2/calendar/webcal/decisions/2009/D22791.pdf

All we can see is: "Mr. Young is aware that he is the subject of an investigation by the Grievance Committee for the Second, Eleventh, and Thirteenth Judicial Districts into allegations of irregularities in his attorney escrow account."

Please link us to anything more than this. Thanks.
