NYPD cars and motorcycles on the Promenade, helicopters hovering over Brooklyn Heights and the Coast Guard in the East River -- this evening's bru-ha-ha was all about security for President Obama's visit to New York City to address the NAACP on their 100th anniversary.
Spectators pointed to the heliport across the East River to what appeared to be President Obama's copter.
