Today Mayor Bloomberg will slay the snow monster. The city has at the ready 365 salt spreaders, 1,700 plows and thousands of workers ready to roll, along with SCOUT teams armed with video cameras to transmit information from the ground, and 50 sanitation trucks in Brooklyn tagged with GPS trackers.
From two to four inches of snow are expected, according to the National Weather Service.
