More Than 850 Marine Park Customers Lose Power Thursday Night/ Friday Morning: Con Edison

More than 850 Marine Park customers lost power last night, Con Ed reports. The outage map shows that more than 70 buildings were hit.

The company expects to fix the problem for many by morning. Check with Con Ed for specifics.

Atrocity: A young woman’s burnt body was found along Brooklyn's Gerritsen Beach shoreline on the border of Marine Park, near Gerritsen and Lois Aves. on Sunday morning.

1,000+ Lose Power in Southern Brooklyn Tuesday Night

From Notify NYC: At 7:40 p.m. tonight Con Edison responded to a power outage in Brooklyn zip codes 11226, 11203, 11210, 11229, 11234, and 11236.

According to Sheepshead Bites, more than 1,230 households were without power in Marine Park, Mill Basin and other areas, after a transformer (pictured above) exploded on Avenue T and Hendrickson Street.
