At least four callers reported four to five shots fired outside 209 Clinton Ave, between Willoughby and Waverly Ave. in the Clinton Hill section of Brookyn Thursday night at 11:04 p.m.
One police responder speculated it was fireworks. At 11:08 p.m., however, a caller from a 4th-floor apartment reported a bullet on the floor.
209 Clinton is the address of the Clinton Holl Coops, located between Fort Greene Park and Pratt Institute.
According to the Coops' website, the Clinton Hill Cooperative Apartments "are a 12 building,
1,200 unit pet-friendly community in a lush park-like setting, featuring
beautifully renovated co-ops, 24 hour security, live-in staff and
laundry rooms."
The neighborhood is described as "Clinton Hill's historic district, a vibrant, diverse, and urban Brooklyn
neighborhood now a mecca for artists, musicians, young families &
foodies alike."

Shooting in East New York, Brooklyn Early Wednesday Morning
From the scanner:
Confirmed: One person shot at 375 Fountain Ave. between Blake to Dumont avenues in Brooklyn's 75th Precinct.
A Level 1 Mobilazation was called at 12:20 p.m. early Wednesday morning.
Police are searching for four black males who fled in a silver Honda on Fulton Street, headed towards Dumont.
UPDATE: Possibility of a second person shot; not confirmed.
UPDATE 1:41 a.m.: Confirmed one male shot. Level 1 Mobilization has been terminated.

There's a Man Stuck in a Sewer in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn
From the scanner:
A call came in to 9-1-1 at 1:34 a.m. early Friday morning asking for help from a woman whose boyfriend "jumped into a 5-foot hole and can't get out."
At 1:38 a.m., the job was announced again by the dispatcher, who clarified, "A man is trapped inside a sewer grating."
Emergency responders are headed to Court Street between Wyckoff and Warren Street in Cobble Hill to get the man out.
Update: We are still waiting to hear if the cops (or FDNY) got the guy out......
Update 2 at 2:42 a.m.: Not a peep. If we hear the outcome (and we assume it was positive) we'll let you know.

Gunfire Reported in Coney Island, Brooklyn,
A report of shots fired at West 33rd Street and Neptune Avenue in Coney Island, Brooklyn came in at 11:44 p.m. Thursday night, shortly after another report of shots fired in Bed-Stuy.
Dispatch told NYPD the shots were unconfirmed. Nothing further.

Shots Reported Thursday Night in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn

A man call 9-1-1 to report that four shots were heard at Sterling Place and Rochester in Bedford-Stuyvesant Thursday night.
Dispatch assigned the job at 11:19 p.m.
The caller left no call-back number. No furtheer details.
Soon afterwards, shots were reported in Coney Island.

Water Rescue In Brighton Beach, Midnight Wednesday

Marine units and the NYPD rushed to Brighton Beach at midnight Wednesday night to rescue a man who was in pain and couldn't get out of the water.
The man was reported in the ocean off 1311 Brightwater Avenue off Seacoast Terrace.
Shortly after midnight, rescue units confirmed a "civillian is in the water" and EMS and NYPD were at the scene.
