 This helicopter swept Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn Bridge Park and Cadman Plaza West with its searchlight very late Wednesday night.

Helicopter Buzzing Brooklyn Heights at 2:30 Thursday Morning

If you were awakened by a low-flying helicopter over Brooklyn Heights from about 2:15 - 2:35 a.m., here's what we heard on the police scanner.

Police Aviation: "We're flying over rooftops and fire escapes."

"A male on a fire escape trying to gain entry. Stay vigilant."

Helicopter Buzzing Brooklyn Heights, Tuesday 9 p.m. Anyone?

A helicopter has been buzzing Brooklyn Heights since about 8:45 p.m., flying between the 25 and 30-story level over Cadman Towers and Cadman Plaza Park.

In the dark it's hard to tell what color it is but the copter is dark, possibly black. No spotlight.

Anyone know any more about it?
