Customers of the now-closed 400-car Love Lane Garage in Brooklyn Heights who haven't found an alternate parking spot are, basically, screwed, according to a report in the Brooklyn Eagle. There's a waiting list at all the local garages, “And there’s not hardly a chance that even two of them will get a space because nobody gives up a space this time of year,” said a manager at the State Street garage.
But all is not lost -- the Eagle lists several potential garages that, though out of the Heights, are within walking distance, including the four spaces left at 85 Livingston Street.
