Local 'Mermaids on Parade' Blog Nominated for Fascination Award

Brooklyn author and illustrator Melanie Hope Greenberg's blog "Mermaids on Parade" (named for her popular illustrated book of the same name) is in the running for a Fascination Award in the 'Art Teacher' category.

Specifically, her post about the Betsy Bird Saturday Children's Literary Salon panel (called "Connect the Dots") was nominated.

Thanks Melanie. BTW folks -- Melanie's Mermaids on Parade is a fun way to explain the Mermaid Parade to kids. (And to grownups, too...)
