One Million Acts of Kindness Bus Back in DUMBO

Bob Votruba and his Kindness Bus (and Kindness Bicycle, for when he's not on the bus) are back in DUMBO this weekend to draw attention to wounded warriors, and police and firefighters killed in the line of duty.

As he crisscrosses the country, Votruba's goal is a lifetime achievement of One Million Acts of Kindness. He also wants to remind everybody that "freedom is not free."

The bus is painted with slogans like "Spread kindness to everyone every chance you get," and "You are the change this world needs."

Votruba will be staying in New York City until September 11.

On his website Votruba says, "As a father of three college age kids I am concerned for the world in which all kids will live."
