When Times Are Hard, Give Where You Live, Brooklyn

If you had a 401-K you probably don't have much of it left, but Independence Community Foundation reminds us that there are a lot of folks in Brooklyn who are really a lot worse off than we are. So they're highlighting Brooklyn’s nonprofit community during this holiday season.

Independence Community Foundation supports a huge number of Brooklyn non-profits, like Brooklyn Aids Task Force, Brooklyn Bureau of Community Service, the HOPE Program, NYC Industries for the Blind, St. John's Bread and Life, Added Value, BRIC Arts and many more.

They remind us: Give where you live, Brooklyn! Visit Brooklyn Gives during the holiday season and give what you can to a Brooklyn non-profit.
