Downtown Brooklyn's 25-Foot Menorah Lit for the Holidays

Photos by MK Metz, McBrooklyn
Rabbi Aaron Raskin of Congregation B’nai Avraham in Brooklyn Heights climbed into a cherry picker to  light seven out of eight of the candles on Downtown Brooklyn's huge menorah in front of the Supreme Court building on Tuesday night.

Joseph Bochetto, branch manager at New York Community Bank in Boro Park helped out.

The event included music and high-spirited dancing.

A pretty sight!

Welcome bak and thanks. I guess upstate doesn't qualify for your beach scene/i'm away post.
