'The 5x10 Talks' in Downtown Brooklyn

To commemorate the explosive innovation happening in Downtown Brooklyn, “The 5x10 Talks,” will be held at BRIC Arts | Media House, 647 Fulton Street at 7:30pm on Tuesday, May 6.

BRIC has invited five leaders in Downtown Brooklyn to answer the question, “What’s Next?”

They are: Bre Pettis, CEO of MakerBot; Brett Yormark, CEO of the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center; Deborah Schwartz, President of the Brooklyn Historical Society; Katherine Isbister, Director of the NYU Game Innovation Lab; and Ralph McDaniels, Founder of Video Music Box.

The event includes performances from Soul Science featuring Chen Lo and Asante’ Amin, presented by 651 Arts; “I Hear America Singing,” presented by American Opera Projects; and an award honoring outgoing Downtown Brooklyn Partnership board chairman, Alan Fishman.

The event is made possible by support from Popular Community Bank, BRIC, Building on Bond, and Brooklyn Brewery. Tickets are $50, with a limited number of early bird tickets available at $25 if purchased by April 15. Proceeds go toward supporting the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership's free community events.  Here.
