The low-rise character of Smith Street (near Degraw, looking north) is apparent in this recent photo.
A neighborhood group “CORD” (carroll gardens COalition to Respectfully Develop) has organized a petition against an eight-story building proposed for 360 Smith (south of this view), and is also hoping to set a standard limiting new development projects to no more than 50 feet.
