From the scanner:
A large number of "domestic dispute" calls have been pouring in to 9-1-1 in Brooklyn tonight.
Some of the locations called in include addresses on Bergen Street; Pacific Street; Kingsborough 1; St. Johns; Fleet Walk and Brooklyn Ave. There are many others as well, and NYPD seem a bit overwhelmed. Some of these calls are more than an hour old before NYPD can get to them.
Our guess is that the stinking hot weather is making people miserable. (Science!)
Drink some cold water folks and try to cool off.
