Brooklyn's 'Ring of Steel?'

This surveillance camera on old Fulton Street between the north end of Henry Street and the Brooklyn Bridge caught our eye when it actually flashed in broad daylight (see flashbulb housing at top of pole).

Part of Brooklyn's "Ring of Steel?"

Isn't that a red-light camera? The surveillance cameras tend to be in domes (at least the ones along the BQE by the promenade)

Yeah, it's a red-light camera. I see it catch cars all the time running the red when turning left onto Prospect from Old Fulton.
