Geese, Brooklyn Bridge Park

I've been told these are Canadian Geese, stopping off on their flight south. Anybody confirm this? (Careful where you sit...)

Actually the are Canada Geese. You were close but for some reason they aren't Canadian, just Canada. My grandmother was a real stickler about this...

They are indeed "Canada Geese", though probably not "Canadian Geese". There is a resident population in BBPark that doesn't seem to migrate. Global warming + easy access to handouts = year-round resident geese.
