Living on the Edge, But the View is Good

See that window opening way up there?


You have to have a good sense of balance to be a window washer in this city, as evidenced by these moves at the Transit Authority building on Livingston Street in Downtown Brooklyn.

The fifth floor and the location of that window tells me that I lived in the cubicle behind it for many years. I'm no longer there. Every time the window washer opened a window papers blew all over the office. . .

Livingston Street or Boerum Place is abut as interesting as watching paint dry, as the ciche goes. The view from the Howard Building way down Jay across Tillary, however, was spectacular. . . The Manhattan Bridge leading into the city, the afternoon sun turning the Empire State Building gold in he fall and spring. . .
