The Dumbo Improvement District is looking for a new Executive Director. Tucker Reed is currently holding this position. Here's the job description, posted on Crain's New York Business: "Advocate and raise funds for Dumbo and act as a liaison with local businesses."
The Upside: "Opportunity to play a central role in developing an up-and-coming neighborhood near downtown Brooklyn, which has been designated a future business district by PlaNYC. (Another upside -- the pay: $90,000 - $100,000.)
The Downside? "Having to seek development funds in an uncertain financial and real estate climate."
Anybody know where Mr. Reed is off to?
