It was the Chinese-American Planning Council's annual walk-a-thon and family celebration. Groups hiked over the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan (then back again later). Celebs gave speeches, everyone ate food and watched traditional dance groups and singers.
The theme of the celebration was the future of youth, and there were plenty of youth there enjoying the day.
