Here's One Scary Brooklyn Map

You might think that this map shows the location of every ginkgo tree or Starbucks in the city, but sadly, this is in reality a map of registered sex offenders in our area. (The little white boxes with crosses are parks and playgrounds, the colored boxes are sex offenders.)

This map is interactive on the site of Family Watchdog. Clicking on a colored square will give you the name, address and often a photo of your friendly neighborhood sex offender.
