The statement says the weather will be hazardous -- wind chills will range from zero to -5 degrees:
"IF VENTURING OUTSIDE...MAKE SURE TO COVER ANY EXPOSED AREAS TO AVOID FROSTBITE," NOAA warns.
NOAA also warns drivers to be wary of patchy black ice as temperatures are quickly decreasing following an arctic front.
Starting this weekend, periods of snow are possible Saturday night into Tuesday. The potential exists for a total of 8 inches or more, NOAA says.
