Hillary as Sec. of State |
Hillary, it turns out, has been spending most of her time in NYC at her Manhattan office near Times Square -- not at her much ballyhooed Brooklyn Heights office.
Politico notes that in keeping with the “everyday Americans” theme of her campaign, cardboard boxes double as printer stands and there is a hand-me-down refrigerator in the office.
Too downscale?
Vanity Fair calls Clinton’s Brooklyn H.Q. "a scrappy place" and muses, "The former First Lady, senator, and secretary of state has a hard time playing a convincing everywoman."

"Hilary for America" held yesterday (Monday, June 22) what it called in the invitation, a "meet and greet." Local civic leaders were invited from, it appears, Congresswoman Nydia Velázquez's contacts list. I have been told by an attendee that HFA took the opportunity to ask its guests to work on the campaign.
Ah! Thanks for the insight. Wonder if Hillary was there herself?
Her campaign website says she's had more than 3,874 one-on-one meetings so far.
