Same M.O. as the Citibank heist just over a week ago: on Saturday afternoon, a man described by a bank employee as "white, about six feet, 190 pounds" robbed Commerce Bank at the corner of Montague and Court Streets in Brooklyn Heights. He got the loot, and left a package suspicious enough to bring in the Hazmat squad. The easternmost block of Montague Street was closed as the package was checked out. Two hours later, the bank was reopened for Business As Usual.
This photo, courtesy of MK Frost, shows a Hazmat-suited police officer walking into the evacuated Commerce Bank on Montague Street.
