Many people in Brooklyn Heights have visited the Housing Works thrift shop on Montague Street. But most aren't aware that the Housing Works Warehouse (48-49 35th St, Long Island City) has fabulous bi-monthly sales.
How it works: You give them $20. They give you a shopping bag to fill with as much of their overstock clothing as you can. And it all goes to help a good cause.
