Fewer than 50 customers are left without power this morning in Brooklyn, according to Con Edison.
Yesterday, roughly 2,000 were in the dark in parts of Park Slope, Sunset Park, Bay Ridge, Red Hook and Borough Park.
Most of those triangles in the map above, taken from Con Ed's web site at 9:51 this morning, represent only 1 or 2 customers without power.

Although I love Brooklyn, and have been a long time resident in Prospect Heights, the same architecture and framework that gives us beautiful tree linned bloacks is also our curse. Con Ed really needs to update the gridwork for these old brownstones and streets. But less than 50 brownouts is better than 2,000.
Wait -- the summer's not over.
