Only three Brooklyn AT&T locations are selling the new iPhone 3G, down from seven last year. But don't bother running out today to grab your phone today -- they were all sold out by Saturday afternoon.
According to Racked, all NYC AT&T stores have sold out, but Manhattan Apple stores still have some iPhone stock.
Computerworld describes the problems users were having connecting with the iTunes 7.7 software needed to configure the device, as does the NY Times. (Apple suffered network gridlock Friday morning).
But Apple retail stores in Boston, Miami, and New York reported today that activation problems have "been resolved." (PCWorld)
AP reported that Apple shares fell $4.05, or 2.3 percent, to close Friday at $172.58 amid a general decline in U.S. stocks.
