This work by Josey Hale -- Throw Down, 2007 -- is from a show at the Rotunda Gallery in Brooklyn Heights called "A Wrinkle in Time," loosely based on the children's book by Madeline L’Engle.
She said, "“If I have something that is too difficult for adults to swallow, then I will write it in a book for children.”
