Don't even think of parking on the west side of Henry Street between Middagh and Old Fulton in Brooklyn Heights. As this sign kindly explains: "They will ticket you!"
The post further explains:
"The 'No Parking Anytime - Temporary Construction' sign down the street applies to the whole block. They want you to park here so they can write you a $60 fine. They got me, and that's why I made these signs."
So be warned.
(And BTW, there doesn't seem to be any construction whatsoever going on at 20 Henry Street, the old Candy Factory / Peaks Mason Mints building. Hasn't been any work since they fixed the hole in the roof last year.)
