The National Weather Service reports that Tornado Watch 525 remains in effect until 1:00 am EDT for the following locations:
Brooklyn (Kings), Queens, and Nassau.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are also in effect. The rain is wreaking havoc in Queens, according to 1010 WINS.
