St. Francis College is hosting the Brooklyn Ballet for Dances at Half Past Twelve with the performance "Roots and New Ground" on Monday, April 13 at 12:30pm in the College’s Founders Hall in Brooklyn Heights.
Under Artistic Director Lynn Parkerson, Brooklyn Ballet will perform six pieces including the premier of "This Dance Goes Like This" with choreography by David Fernandez and featuring dancers; William Cannon, Miku Kawamura, Savannah Lee, and Christine Sawyer.
Other works include "The Green Dress" choreographed by Lynn Parkerson and the work in progress, "Earth and Crown," with choreography by Matthew Powell.
Musicians will accompany the dancers on piano, mandolin, violin and bass.
It's free, and a reception will follow.
