3-Day Brooklyn Folk Festival Headed to Brooklyn Heights April 17-19

Save the date, music lovers: The 3-day Brooklyn Folk Festival includes 30 bands, vocal and instrumental workshops, a family-friendly square dance and swing dance, jam sessions, film screenings, the "famous Banjo Toss contest" and more.

Here's your chance to hear old-time string-band music, folk, blues, a jug band, bluegrass, traditional Irish and Balkan music etc.

Some notable performers include Jerron "Blind Boy" Paxton and Naomi Shelton & the Gospel Queens.  Here's the full lineup.

This year the festival will be held at St. Ann’s Church located at 157 Montague St. between Clinton and Henry in Brooklyn Heights. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
