Why do companies move to DUMBO? Very little amenities and such high rent? Very stupid thing to move there. Is it the old theory that places locate as close to the boss or CEO's house as possible?

The neighborhood is very uncool too.

It's nice to be near other people in the same business. DUMBO is crawling with tech nerds. There's a bunch of small start-ups in the Greendesk, Cube and other hive-type offices, so there are networking ops.

Old timers told me the neighborhood is toxic from all the old factories. Not a place to raise kids...
