New York City's Rolling Stones fans are still bummed about losing out on the Rolling Stones' 50th Anniversary concert in Brooklyn. (All signs pointed to a Barclays Center appearance, but the boys decided to schlep their stuff to Newark.)
Now, unfortunately, we have to listen to the hype -- the movie! the book! the exhibitions! -- the whole pre-concert build up.
Yesterday, Reuters reported that Mick Jagger said the Stones had rehearsed "around 70 songs" for the concerts, and guitarist Keith Richards assured fans the veteran British rockers would "deliver."
Meanwhile, the skyline graphic on the Rolling Stones' concert page still shows the Statue of Liberty -- as seen from Brooklyn.
