Montague Street's Vietnamese 'Kim Paris' Closes

It just opened at the beginning of this year, but now Kim Paris Vietnamese Grill has disconnected its phones and closed its doors. It was the only Vietnamese restaurant on Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights, and we thought it wasn't bad. It was located on the corner of Henry and Montague, upstairs over Andy's (with the dark glass in the photo above). The Greens restaurant was once in that same spot.

No word yet on why, though we did notice a slight change in the recipes after the restaurant had been open for a couple of months.

A sign in the window says, "Vegetarian -- Ginger" is coming.

So sad- I loved this place, and the owner/staff were very nice.

We ate there frequently. Especially liked the "chicken bun" -- cold noodle dish. We're going to miss it, too.

They closed because the owner thought the kitchen was too small, they might up at another location in Manhatten
