Update: Stabbing on Hicks Street in Brooklyn Heights

There was a terrible incident near Love Lane in Brooklyn Heights this afternoon. Word is not yet out whether it was murder or suicide, but a 42-year-old man, Graham Barnett, was found stabbed to death in his bathtub. The Brooklyn Eagle broke this story.

Hicks between Love Lane and Clark Street swarmed with crime scene investigators and fire emergency workers.

Then they started talking to the neighbors.


All non-residents were asked to vacate the area.

After the streets were cordoned off, the major news media with their vans and equipment started filling up Pierrepont Street.


They waited patiently for a definitive moment. It was a long time coming.

Mr. Barnett was married with two young twin girls, the NY Sun reports.
